Watercolor in progress
Because of Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days challenge, a commission for this painting came about. A friend from highschool had been seeing my daily posts on facebook and asked if I could paint her daughter. She emailed me a bunch of darling photos, but, the one of her daughter is this red hat caught my eye. I have never met her daughter, but looking at the photos, I could see her personality. I am still working on this painting. I am going to study it the next few days and add the finishing touches.
The portrait of the little girl is just beautiful! You've done such a great job! Precious.
ReplyDeleteJudy, thank you. I love your pink flamingo. Is it for sale? I looked at both your blog and your google site for a price.
ReplyDeleteI love the red hat and her pensive gaze. Great work on the challenge!
ReplyDeleteCelia, I am so glad you noticed the pensive gaze. That's exactly what I was trying to capture.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous portrait! You must have a brush in your hand for 24 hours a day at the moment! :0)
ReplyDeleteSandra, love your positive spirit! I am losing the flow now. I don't have any more great inspirational photos now.
DeleteThat is beautiful portrait work and how wonderful to have received the commission as a result of the challenge!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I agree, the challenge has brought so many positive benefits to us all! Thanks, Leslie Saeta!
