Feeling the wind, looking at the water
Hello, hello! I hope you had a great summer! After a nice little break, spending time in nature, doing things outside like sailing, chasing stingrays, sitting and looking at shadows, feeling the breeze on my face, my head is full of a list of ideas to paint and capture. Hopefully, these ideas, moments, I want to get on paper will be something that speaks to others.
If you follow me on instagram or facebook, you know that I have been concentrating on umbrellas, cabanas, poolside and palm trees. I painted where I wanted to be and apparently, that spoke to others! Mini umbrellas sold and went into homes solo or as part of a group. Prints on paper and canvas went into first apartments, dorms, offices and hotels!
Fortunately, butterflies and flowers (my fav) are still the number one favorite subject that connects us all. I feel like I see more and more butterflies wherever I go. Including in the tropics! They are solid bright yellow there! Requests for my butterfly paintings have been from all over the country and now one shipped all the way to Panama! A request from Panama is huge to me because Panama has the beauty of bright, colorful animals of the amazon woven into their everyday life. New butterfly designs release coming up on my social media.
