Day 21 in 30 in 30

Watercolor in progress

Because of Leslie Saeta's 30 paintings in 30 days challenge, a commission for this painting came about.  A friend from highschool had been seeing my daily posts on facebook and asked if I could paint her daughter.  She emailed me a bunch of darling photos, but, the one of her daughter is this red hat caught my eye.  I have never met her daughter, but looking at the photos, I could see her personality.  I am still working on this painting.  I am going to study it the next few days and add the finishing touches.

  2. Judy, thank you. I love your pink flamingo. Is it for sale? I looked at both your blog and your google site for a price.

  4. What a gorgeous portrait! You must have a brush in your hand for 24 hours a day at the moment! :0)
